A lace-weight strand of bamboo blended with merino. Cool to the touch, with a soft sheen from the plant fibre and the structure of fine wool. Stitch definition stays clear across the rounds — no halo, nothing to soften the design.
A single strand makes a light shawl or a lacework piece where the pattern needs to read clearly. Held double, it sits at fingering-adjacent weight — a summer-weight sweater, a denser shawl, a light tee. One yarn, two project applications. Where mohair-silk or suri-silk gives you halo and warmth, which we also love but find too warm for Spring/Summer, this base gives you drape and clarity. It’s the yarn for transitional weather, for designs you want to wear in warmer months, and for knitters who can’t wear mohair near skin.
