Choose Your Base
- LITLG Bamboo Lace held double (800m/100g, ~400m effective per skein) — the original recommendation; a silky, drapey plant-fibre echoing the cool hand of the linen-silk original.
- LITLG Silk Bourette (560m/100g) — new. Pure silk, made of 100% bourette silk. Bourette silk is made of silk waste created during silk processing: the short, leftover silk fibres are spun into a new yarn. It has a rustic, uneven look and is less shiny than other types of silk. This is the perfect yarn for summer tops. Knit as a single strand (~21 sts on a 3.75mm needle).
