Best LITLG match — Option 1: LITLG Fine Sock (single strand, 425m/100g — 75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon) — near-identical meterage to the original, with excellent stitch definition. Perfect for this lace pattern where the stitch structure needs to read clearly. - Best LITLG match — Option 2: LITLG Bamboo Lace, held double (400m effective per skein) — a silkier, more drapey alternative. Slightly lighter hand than Fine Sock; beautiful for wearers who prefer a silk-like finish.
- Gauge: 20 sts and 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm in lace after blocking
- Needles: 3.5 mm (US 4) main, 3.25 mm (US 3)
Skein counts below apply to both options — the meterage is close enough that the groupings are identical.
