100% Untreated Non-Superwash Highland Wool DK
A mixture of Corriedale, Merino, and other wools, completely untreated and sourced from sheep who roam the Peruvian highlands, making a durable, woolly fabric. It is spun by the mill to support local farmers and to promote sustainability in the region. It features a soft yet rustic handle, and we have dyed it in soft, neutral colors that we believe complement the tone of the wool perfectly— ideal yarn for cardigans, sweaters, colorwork, and shawls.
As the base is untreated it takes color tonally and there will be some variations in tone of color on the skeins which just adds to it’s beauty.
Handwash gently.
