Introducing our newest Donegal-spun base!
Husk is custom-spun for us in a 100 year old Woollen Mill in Donegal. It is a sport weight woolen spun merino, silk and cashmere mix which we hand-dye in our studio in colors inspired by the Donegal landscape.
Untouched seascapes, wild undergrowth and purple tinted mountains.
It knits up with a subtle tweed and a faded tonal effect, giving garments an antique, natural texture. It has a rustic feel and is perfect for colorwork or plain tonal sweaters.
