From the book Stripes by Veera Välimäki – the book is available in lots of local yarn stores and online at laine.
This shawl is inspired by the ripples on water. See how the water moves, never stopping, always flowing? This is the element I am so often drawn to. With water there is no end, there’s no obstacle too hard.
MINNA is worked in one piece as a bias triangle shawl. The beginning is worked in even stripes, and in the final brioche section you make a series of brioche increases and decreases to create a wavelike movement.
